Control and solution of environmental pollution by odours PDF Print E-mail

The past 19th of November and with the attendance of 130 people of different scopes of private companies and of the public sector, the first Technical Workshop was held in Madrid to analyze the environmental pollution caused by odours.

The Council for Environment, Housing and Territory Filing of the Community of Madrid, with the cooperation of the CEIM (The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid) and LABAQUA, were in charge of the organization of the workshop that under the title of “Control and solution of environmental pollution by odours” in the Institute of Business Training (IFE) of the Chamber of Madrid.

To the left, a biased view of the room and the attendees; down to the right, a snapshot of the table of speakers, where you can see several of the people in charge in the LABAQUAs Section of Olfactometry that took part in the workshop and presented the olfactometry as effective tool for the study and control of this problem, since this technique allows to establish a relation between the possible origins of the bad scents and its consequence in the surroundings and by this way establish measures for its elimination.

According to the program (link is included), concrete aspects of the problem of the environmental pollution were analyzed. both the legal perspective and the available tools for the control and solution of this type of pollution, with a special prevalence in the exhibition of practical cases.
